Dr. Renée McCoy is a comprehensive ophthalmologist in Phoenix, Arizona, currently practicing at Southwestern Eye Center in Tempe. She completed her Doctor of Medicine at Howard University College of Medicine and her residency at Case Western Reserve University and the residing hospitals in Cleveland, OH.  

With her extensive experience, she has held significant leadership roles, most recently as the Supervising Physician Director for Ophthalmology and Optometry at Evernorth Care Group, where she was a comprehensive ophthalmologist since April 2012. In addition to her clinical work, she was a member of the Evernorth Outpatient Surgery Center Quality and Governing Board. Recognized as an expert in her field, Dr. McCoy has also served as a subject matter expert and trainer for the Epic EHR Transition Team.

 Dr. McCoy is a top producer in cataract surgeries, performing over 1,300 annually, and is actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Outside of her medical career, she enjoys cooking, traveling, the theater, and Tru2U fitness.
